"Gundam GQuuuuuuX" OP: Green Old Man Running Among Youth "Pierced My Heart" "Might Become Addictive"

The second episode of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" has been airing sequentially since April 15th. The opening sequence, featuring main characters running gallantly, also includes the "green old man" Challia Bull (CV: Shinji Kawada), delighting fans who commented, "The green old man's run pierced my heart" and "The OP dash might become addictive."

Originally, Char Aznable appeared in episode 39 of "Mobile Suit Gundam," but he might have been a somewhat unremarkable character even for "Gundam" fans. However, in "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," he has made an unexpected comeback as a key character, becoming affectionately known as the "green old man" in the Reiwa era.

The opening sequence revealed in episode 2 of "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" naturally includes Char. Set to the opening theme "Plazma" by singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu, there's a scene where the protagonist Machu, aka Amate Yuzuriha (CV: Tomoyo Kurosawa), and others are running, with Char joining them, leaning forward as he runs.
