——What were the points you wanted to express or emphasize in this cosplay?

Chin: I wanted to capture Guren's cool and stylish demeanor using poses that highlight the weapon's length. The costume was customized from a ready-made outfit to wear more tightly, and the weapon "Hana ni Toka no Kurenai Nashi" was handmade using cosplay boards as the primary material. I incorporated various techniques, such as inserting two metal cores to effectively express the curve of the long blade.

——You mentioned liking Guren, but what specifically drew you to this character?

Chin:I adore the somewhat ephemeral and battle-hardened atmosphere that surrounds Guren in the story!

——Incidentally, Guren has variations, namely White Guren and Black Guren. Which do you prefer?

Chin:Hmmm... purely in terms of appearance, I prefer Guren: Black Shadow (laughs). But beyond appearance, Black Guren's background is rich with the hardships of the Goddess Unit and past stories, which flow into the lightness and loneliness of White Guren, who belongs to Pioneers. Conversely, there are many aspects of White Guren that remain untold up until that state, so I'm looking forward to the future narrative!

——Could you share any future plans or cosplay projects you would like to pursue?

Chin:I wish to continue enjoying participating in events as characters I love. I also want to take on shoots in studios that convey a sense of story. I am planning to cosplay as Soka (Guren's sister) and White Guren as well!

——Thank you very much!

Following her display of Lapi at the Wonder Festival, Chin once again impressed in her participation with "NIKKE" cosplay. Her appearance in a solid, black-themed outfit was noteworthy.
