In episode 39 of the anime "The Apothecary Diaries," which has been airing since April 18th, Maomao (CV: Aoi Yuki) creates "instant ice cream" to cover up Xiaolan's (CV: Misaki Kuno) mistake. The ice cream made Xiaolan beam with joy, prompting viewers online to express interest, saying it looked delicious and they wanted to try it.

In episode 39, "Ice-cream," Xiaolan clumsily bumps into the eunuch (CV: Katsunori Okai) carrying the ice to be offered to Lady Loulan. The ice falls to the ground and shatters, leading a tearful Xiaolan to face an angry eunuch who yells, "Do you think an apology is enough!?" Maomao quickly intervenes, suggesting the creation of a substitute ice dessert that Lady Loulan desires.
