From the anime "The Apothecary Diaries," a new visual themed on seasonal plants is being released on the 22nd of every month to celebrate Maomao's day in the project "The Four Seasons with Maomao and Jinshi." The visual for April has been unveiled.

Set in the rear palace, this popular mystery-solving entertainment series "The Apothecary Diaries" (Author: Hyuganatsu, Illustrator: Touko Shino), featuring a "food taster" girl solving various difficult cases, has surpassed 40 million copies in total sales.

The second season, which began airing in January 2025, has consistently ranked at the top across various streaming platforms. The first exhibition of the TV anime "The Apothecary Diaries" started on March 26, and collaboration information with Universal Studios Japan this summer has also been announced. When the announcement for the new opening theme by Mrs. GREEN APPLE and the ending theme by Omoinotake for the second cour starting from April 4 was made, the hashtag "The Apothecary Diaries" trended number 1 on X. The simultaneously released PV also surpassed 1 million views within 24 hours!

The YouTube trending ranking also held the top position, with the non-credit opening video exceeding 2 million views, becoming a hot topic.

The visual released today, the 10th installment for April, is themed around spring’s symbol, the cherry blossom. In the pleasant spring weather, Maomao and Jinshi are having a cherry blossom viewing under the sakura tree. Maomao is pouring her beloved sake, and Jinshi, perhaps slightly tipsy, has a slightly flushed face. This illustration captures the two in a more relaxed atmosphere than usual.
