The synopsis, preview cut, and web preview for episode 40 of the anime "The Apothecary Diaries" have been released.
"The Apothecary Diaries" is an anime adaptation based on the novel of the same name by Hyuganatsu. Set in the imperial harem, it follows a young pharmacist named Maomao, who becomes a "poison taster" and uses her knowledge of poisons and medicines to solve various challenging incidents within the court. The second season of the anime started broadcasting in January 2025, spanning two consecutive cours.
