Interestingly, Frieren's blown kiss once had enough power to make Himmel, the hero who defeated the Demon King (voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto), faint. Even the wizard Fern (voiced by Kana Ichinose) and the warrior Stark (voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi), who witnessed the kiss this time, blushed, exclaiming, "It's too seductive...!"

Though Frieren's blown kiss failed to capture Sein's heart, it captivated viewers online, who commented, "I can't stop grinning" and "What a sinful woman." Some even questioned, "Why didn't Frieren-sama's blown kiss work on Sein!?"

The anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," currently available for streaming, is based on the manga of the same name written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday." Set in a world after the Demon King's defeat, it follows Frieren, a wizard who has lived for over a thousand years, on her journey to "understand humans." The original manga has received numerous awards, gaining immense support and acclaim, with 14 volumes published and over 24 million copies sold. The highly anticipated second season of the TV anime is scheduled to air in January 2026.
