"Battle Sense, Too Unusual" - Viewers Amazed by Machu & Shuji's MAV Tactics in "Gundam GQuuuuuuX" Episode 3

The anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" Episode 3 began airing on April 22. Audiences were astounded by the MAV tactics of Amate Yuzuriha (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa), who showed glimpses of a Newtype, and Shuji Ito (voiced by Shinba Tsuchiya), who was revealed to be the pilot of a mysterious red Gundam, with comments like "Their battle sense is just too unusual..."

In Episode 3, titled "Clan Battle's Machu," Amate Yuzuriha, also known as Machu, participates in the illegal mobile suit duel competition "Clan Battle" alongside Shuji. They challenge their enemies using the "MAV Tactics," where two mobile suits fight as a team.

Taking the helm of the state-of-the-art mobile suit GQuuuuuuX for the second time, Machu, despite being inexperienced, managed to evade all enemy attacks. Even when her vision was obscured by flash grenades, she began to exhibit Newtype-like abilities.

In a dire situation, she resonated with Shinji and managed to escape danger, demonstrating extraordinary spatial awareness to guide the enemy. A heat hawk suddenly flew in from out of nowhere, striking the enemy mobile suit's head directly. Watching the broadcast, Xavier Olivette (voiced by Seiichiro Yamashita), the original pilot of the GQuuuuuuX, was astonished, wondering, "Did she read the trajectory and lure it in? How much can she see?"

While Machu struggled to remove the heat hawk embedded in the enemy's head, she was caught off guard from behind. However, she intuitively sensed Shuji's assistance. They displayed an impressive combination for their first battle, with Machu ultimately slicing through the enemy mobile suit's head, securing victory in their debut match.
