"Nodame Cantabile" Ayako Kawasumi & Tomokazu Seki's Reading x Orchestra Performance to Be Screened at the End of July

From July 30th to 31st at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, a special "Nodame Cantabile" Reading x Orchestra performance, "Nodame Cantabile" Story Live Orchestra, has been scheduled.

This performance is based on the popular manga "Nodame Cantabile," which fuses classical music with human drama. It follows the story according to the original plot from the formation of the R☆S Orchestra to the success of the concert, with the climax magnificently adorned by "Brahms Symphony No. 1 in C minor, Op. 68 (all movements)."

Original members such as Ayako Kawasumi and Tomokazu Seki, who voiced the anime on TV, deliver a one-of-a-kind original script reading, combined with illustrations from the original work. Furthermore, under the leadership of conductor Riku Okamoto, the young accomplished musical group Tacticart Orchestra, renowned for their innovative programs and high-quality performances such as the "Ping Pong Concerto Concert" and "SHIN SERIES," will reproduce a realistic performance reminiscent of the original work.

Moreover, the direction is by Takuma Suehara, the leader of the theater company Obonro, who handles all scripts, direction, and performances. Recently, he has expanded activities including external stage and reading play scripts and direction such as "club Catteria," "Sangokushi Engi: Sun Wu," and "Kurumu Fairy Tales" domestically and internationally. This concert offers an immersive experience in the world of "Nodame," themed on the fusion of music, story, and video. Ticket pre-sale with lottery started on April 25th.
