What Does That Mysterious Pose Mean...? Episode 4 of "APOCALYPSEHOTEL" - Yachiyo's 'Save Mode' Slowly Becomes Hilarious

The fourth episode of the anime "APOCALYPSEHOTEL" has been airing in sequence from April 29. The peculiar pose taken by the robot Yachiyo (CV: Saho Shirasu) when entering 'save mode' has amused viewers, prompting comments like "What kind of state is that, lol" and "Strange pose, but strong core, lol."

In episode 4, titled "Culture in Food and Etiquette," Yachiyo, a hotelier robot working at the hotel "Gingarou," and Ponko (CV: Sumire Morohoshi), a "Tanuki alien," go out in search of ingredients. Yachiyo mentions, "Yesterday, my charging time was shorter than usual," to which Ponko replies, "If we can't get back, I'll give you a piggyback ride!"

Yachiyo's battery failure happens at an unexpected moment. In the midst of a tense atmosphere following a sudden attack by an extraterrestrial life form, Yachiyo bravely suggests, "As a last resort, I'll act as bait, and we can catch them with that hook once they're lured in."

However, when requesting Ponko to operate the crane, Yachiyo starts repeating, "Please... please..." in a strange manner. Declaring "Entering save mode," Yachiyo stops in a bent-over posture as if halfway through an exercise. Although she briefly revives, she soon returns to save mode, freezing in a similarly mysterious pose.
