Anime "WIND BREAKER Roppo Ichiza Arc" Special Program Announced! Featuring Yuma Uchida, Shoya Chiba, Ryota Osaka, and New cast members play the role of Kanji Nakamura

A special program "TV Anime 'WIND BREAKER Season 2' Roppo Ichiza Arc Opening Special" will be exclusively broadcast for free on ABEMA on Saturday, May 10 at 8:30 PM.

"WIND BREAKER" is an anime adaptation of the popular yankee manga by Nii Satoru. It depicts the journey of Haruka Sakura, a delinquent high school student who transfers to Furin High School aiming for the top in fights and grows together with his comrades from the group "Bofurin" who protect the town. Season 1 of the TV anime started in April 2024, and Season 2 has been airing since April 2025.

The upcoming special program will feature Yuma Uchida as Haruka Sakura, Shoya Chiba as Akihiko Nirei, Ryota Osaka as Tasuku Tsubakino, and will also include a cast member for the role of Kanji Nakamura who appears for the first time in the Roppo Ichiza Arc. They will thoroughly explain highlights of the new chapter featuring the battle against the ultra martial artist group, Roppo Ichiza, while reflecting on memorable scenes from the recently aired "KEEL Arc."

Additionally, there will be a marathon streaming of "WIND BREAKER" episodes from the first to the latest episode (episode 19) for free. The marathon will be streamed three times: at 11:30 AM on Saturday, May 10, after the special program at 9:30 PM, and on Sunday, May 11 at 11:25 AM. Moreover, all episodes will be available for free viewing for one week until Saturday, May 17.

Currently, "WIND BREAKER Season 2" is being exclusively pre-streamed on the "ABEMA Anime Channel" every Thursday night at 12:26 midnight, simultaneously with terrestrial broadcasting. The latest episode can be viewed for free for one week after broadcasting.
