There Is No Maid Named Shisui… Shocking Connection Revealed, "Seriously?" "This Is Getting Interesting" - Episode 41 of the Anime "The Apothecary Diaries"

In Episode 41 of the anime "The Apothecary Diaries," which began airing on May 2nd, a shocking truth about one of the maids close to Maomao (voiced by Aoi Yuki), named Shisui (voiced by Asami Seto), was revealed, leaving viewers stunned with reactions like "What!?" and "What does this mean?"

In the previous episode, Suirei (voiced by Kaori Nazuka) took Kosui hostage and threatened Maomao to leave the inner palace with her. In Episode 41, titled "Fox's Village," Suirei abducted Maomao and Shisui from the inner palace.

During their journey, Maomao became suspicious and threw a snake at Suirei. When Suirei showed fear of the snake, Shisui quickly drove it away. Observing Shisui's actions, Maomao confidently said, "Suirei, you and Shisui knew each other from before, didn't you?"

Suirei feigned ignorance, but Maomao pointed out more suspicious aspects of Shisui's behavior. Shisui then laughed and admitted, "Maomao, you're sharp. So you were testing us. But please stop, my sister really hates snakes," acknowledging her connection with Suirei.
