What Appeared in the Trap Set for Skinner... "LAZARUS" Episode 5 Preview and Synopsis Released, Latest Work from "Cowboy Bebop" Director Shinichiro Watanabe

The synopsis and preview images for episode 5 of the anime "LAZARUS" have been released.

This original anime is a collaboration between director Shinichiro Watanabe ("Cowboy Bebop"), character designer Akemi Hayashi ("BANANA FISH"), action supervisor Chad Stahelski ("John Wick"), animation studio MAPPA ("Jujutsu Kaisen," "Chainsaw Man"), and production company SOLA ENTERTAINMENT ("The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim").

The story revolves around "Hapuna," a painkiller marketed worldwide as a "miracle drug" without side effects, but which causes death three years after consumption. A team of five agents called "Lazarus," including Axel (voiced by Mamoru Miyano), works to uncover the conspiracy behind this "miracle drug" and save humanity.

Additionally, ABEMA and Niconico Live have announced marathon streaming events for "LAZARUS."
