Special Exhibition of the Theater-Exclusive Version 'Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-' to be Held! Starting May 24th (Saturday) at Anime Tokyo Station

The special exhibition from the theater-exclusive version 'Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-' will be held starting May 24th (Saturday).

'Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX' is the latest installment in the 'Mobile Suit Gundam' series, which has been ongoing since 1979. The story follows Amate Yuzuriha (CV: Tomoyo Kurosawa), a high school girl living peacefully in a space colony, who gets caught up in an illegal mobile suit dueling competition called 'Clan Battle' after meeting a girl named Nyaan (CV: Yui Ishikawa). Co-produced by Studio Khara, known for works like the 'Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition' series, and Sunrise, the January-released theatrical version preceding the TV series was a box office hit, grossing over 3.34 billion yen.

The special exhibition will be open at Anime Tokyo Station from May 24th (Saturday) to August 11th (Monday, Holiday). It will feature scene cuts that revisit famous scenes from the theater-exclusive version of 'Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-', released ahead of the TV broadcast.

Additionally, visitors will be able to see standees of characters and mobile suits, photo spots replicating scenes from the work, and valuable production materials like scripts, starting with the protagonist Amate Yuzuriha (Machu).

An AR photo corner where visitors can take pictures with motifs of the characters will also be set up, making it a uniquely Anime Tokyo Station exhibition.
