"Adding Girlish Elements Such as Skirt Volume" - A Cosplay of Reimu from "Touhou" Aiming for Contrast

—What were you aiming to express with your cosplay this time?

Alice: Reimu has a cool side to her visuals, so I paid attention to posing with the purification rod and ofuda, which she always has at work, to make her look cool.

However, for the costume and hairstyle, I included girlish elements to make them look cute by using a ribbon on the scarf and adding volume to the skirt, aiming for a contrast with the poses.

—With a long history and numerous fan works like Yukkuri Reimu and Marisa, what was your introduction to "Touhou Project", and what do you find appealing about it?

Alice: It was through Nico Nico Douga! I find it very appealing that in the singular world of "Gensokyo," there are various worldviews such as Japanese and Western styles.

—Could you tell us about any cosplays you’d like to try in the future?

Alice: Actually, my top favorites in "Touhou" are Flandre Scarlet and Seiga Kaku... (laughs). I definitely want to cosplay those two!!
