As the youngest of four siblings, Nakamura revealed the influence of many anime works from his brothers and recalled discovering the visual impact of the movie 'AKIRA' in 1996, when he was 8 years old.

Nakamura reminisced, “I’m quite far apart in age from my brothers. There's about a twelve-year gap, so they were watching more mature works, and that led me to 'AKIRA.' At first, I didn’t understand it at all, but later on, as a child in elementary school, I read the comics, using all my brain power to understand, and realized, ah, this is the story!
