Voice Actor Yu Shimamura Makes Her First Variety Show Appearance! Revealing Her Orderly Lifestyle and Studio Frenzy Over Pinecone Tasting

On May 4th (Sunday) at 10 PM, episode #3 of "Say You To Yo Asobi Sunday" was broadcast on ABEMA's Anime LIVE channel.

This episode featured voice actor Yu Shimamura as the first guest of the season. Various segments were conducted, such as "I Want to Know More! Yu Shimamura's Guidebook" which explored her personality, and an introduction to the smartphone app game "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE," where the three cast members have roles.

As a guest, Yu Shimamura made what turned out to be her first meeting with the two MCs. Moreover, this was Shimamura's first appearance on a variety show, garnering much attention on what kind of talks would arise. Previously, Yu Serizawa and Maria Naganawa unveiled a "full-cuteness" set and unique new effects, to which Shimamura candidly commented, “It’s more handmade than I imagined (laughs).” Even Serizawa couldn’t help but apologize, “Sorry it’s just a piece of cloth (laughs),” which made the studio burst into laughter.
