Chiikawa Characters Appear in Edo-themed Outfits with Topknots and Twisted Headbands! "Chiipoke" New Theme "Edo Event" Begins

The smartphone app 'Chiikawa Pocket' (hereinafter referred to as 'Chiipoke') has launched a new theme called the "Edo Event" starting Tuesday, May 13th. In conjunction with the event, a giveaway campaign will be held on the official X account.

Based on the popular manga "Chiikawa" by illustrator Nagano, which is posted on X (formerly Twitter), the app is designed with the concept of 'Always Together With Chiikawa, Anywhere,' offering a smartphone game that is packed with fun activities showcasing the Chiikawa world. The service began on March 27, 2025, in 43 countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, and the United States, reaching over 3 million downloads worldwide.

The decision has been made to hold the new "Edo Event" theme in 'Chiipoke.' During the "Edo Event," which starts on Tuesday, May 13th, players can advance through the event pass to obtain "costumes" in the Edo theme for Chiikawa and "home items" for Kuri-Manjū.

Additionally, the event's promotional video (PV) has been released. In the PV, you can enjoy the sight of Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, and the group dressed in their new Edo-themed outfits.
