Holding down her costume in strong winds... What she aimed for with her cosplay as Megurine Luka was the "kind older sister vibe"

——What points did you want to express in this cosplay or what are your favorite points?

Yuino：What I like about the costume is the bijou (decorative stones on the clothes). It’s a part I was particularly particular about when purchasing the costume, so it was very pleasing to see it sparkle in the sunlight!

Regarding posing, due to the quite strong winds on this day, I ended up having to hold down the costume quite a bit, which limited the poses. But even so, within those limitations, I aimed to express the kind older sister vibe as "Luka-ne" (Sister Luka).

——Megurine Luka has long been popular through numerous Vocaloid songs and appearances in games like "Project Sekai" in recent years. What was your first encounter with her, and what do you like about her?

Yuino：I originally entered the world of Vocaloid through Hatsune Miku, but as I listened to lots of tracks thinking like "Let’s listen to various songs!", I was particularly impressed by "magnet" where Hatsune Miku and Luka are singing.

Within the song "magnet," my impression of Luka was of an "overwhelmingly sexy, mature older sister!" However, in other tracks, for example, Luka in "Senbonzakura" comes across as a surprisingly clumsy older sister (haha). Though she remains an older sister, she can be both cool and naturally charming, a wonderful character!

——Please tell us if there are any other cosplays you would like to try in the future.

Yuino：There are countless cosplays I'd like to try, so I can't list them all… (haha). If I limit it to Vocaloids, I'd like to challenge the costumes from the songs as much as possible!! The costumes created by the wonderful Vocaloid producers are all cute and fantastic, and once you start, there's no end to it… (haha). I also love the modules in "Project DIVA," so I'd like to tackle those too.

Yuino focused on expressing the "older sister vibe" of Luka. Despite being a photoshoot in strong winds, it turned into a situation with unexpected effects, like the detail in the sheer parts being noticeable and subtle movement in the wig.
