"Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" is the latest installment in the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series, which has been continuing since 1979. The story follows Yuzuriha Amate, a high school girl living peacefully in a space colony, who, through her encounter with a girl named Nyaan (CV: Yui Ishikawa), gets entangled in illegal mobile suit duel competitions known as "Clan Battle." Co-produced by Studio Khara, known for works like the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series, and Sunrise, the collaboration has garnered attention. The theatrical version, released this January ahead of the TV series, was a huge hit, grossing over 3.34 billion yen.
