During the live broadcast on Sunday, May 18th, in addition to the monthly MC Kisho Taniyama, Ken Pro voice actors Anri Katsu, Yu Hayashi, and Masaya Fukunishi joined as guests. The program started off in a lively manner with laughter as they reminisced about Taniyama’s embarrassing rookie days, talked about their reasons for choosing Ken Production, and Tomoko Kaneda revealed an unexpected connection with the agency president.

The main program included a segment titled “Stories You Can’t Say in Front of Kisho Taniyama,” where the three juniors revealed stories about their senior in the agency that they couldn’t say to his face. Taniyama watched from a separate studio via a monitor. Notably, Taniyama was given a stop button so that he could interrupt and pause the conversation if he wanted to add a comment.

As soon as the segment started, the three shared a flurry of cute episodes about Taniyama. First, Fukunishi revealed how even though Taniyama is shy around strangers, he goes out of his way to interact with his juniors, showing how much he cares for them. Fukunishi passionately explained, “Despite being shy, he pushes himself past his own limits to connect with us! From our perspective as juniors, that makes him reliable and, honestly, really adorable. The essence of Kisho-san’s charm is what you find beyond his shyness!”

Katsu, who has known Taniyama for more than 20 years, chimed in, “He’s shy, but he still wants to connect. He’s shy, but he truly loves people.” Taniyama, faced with the dissolution of his wild image, quickly pressed the stop button. His attempt to defend himself by saying, “You idiots! I’m not that friendly!” brought laughter throughout the studio.

Next, Hayashi shared an episode that made everyone’s heart skip a beat, revealing an unexpectedly cute side of Taniyama. Hayashi recounted how Taniyama, who doesn’t like flying, sat completely tense with his legs tightly together during a plane landing, saying, “It was the first time I’ve seen a senior look so small! That was my ‘swoon’ moment.” Taniyama blushed a deep red at the story.

Other anecdotes included Taniyama’s kindness when Hayashi was feeling down, as well as Katsu’s observation of Taniyama’s shy side. As Taniyama’s true self was revealed one story after another, Tomoko Kaneda exclaimed in excitement, “Really!? Oh wow, that’s so cute!” and “He always seemed cool, so the gap is great!”

When the segment ended, Taniyama made a bashful entrance, saying, “Hello, I’m the guy with nothing but ‘gap moe’ appeal. I’m made entirely of gaps,” which set off even more laughter in the studio.

In another segment, the program asked the guests to compare Ken Production to different things in various genres: “If You Compare Ken Pro to Something.” Ken Production has an industry reputation as both a “group of unique individuals” and “homey,” but when asked “If Ken Pro were a side dish?” or “If Ken Pro were a musical instrument?” the four responded with a series of unusual answers.

For the especially out-there prompt, “If Ken Pro were body hair?” Tomoko Kaneda’s unexpected answer was chosen, causing the studio to erupt in laughter during their wild discussion of the agency.
