I am truly delighted to be part of a Crayon Shin-chan movie! I played Ariana, a popular girl in India. Although she's always smiling and makes everyone happy, she secretly worries about what others think of her—she has that delicate side. Meeting Shin-chan gradually starts to move her heart. There is also an important scene where she delivers her feelings through song, so please pay close attention! You’ll laugh a lot, dance a lot, and yet, at the end, it’s a film that leaves a warm feeling in your heart. Please enjoy it at the theater!

This is my first appearance in a Crayon Shin-chan movie since 2009, so it’s been about 16 years! I’ve been waiting longingly for the call. Since I love Indian movies and curry, I was overjoyed to be offered the role of Kabir! Because his real name is so long, I had a tough time introducing myself, but once you can say it, it’s a lot of fun, so please watch the film multiple times and try to memorize it. Also, please look forward to my duet with Dir, played by Sho Hayami! Incidentally, I also take on a mysterious role—my very first time experiencing such a thing in my voice acting career.

Dir (Sho Hayami)

A detective with the Indian Confidential Unsolved Bizarre Case Task Force. He forms a duo with Kabir, whom he calls "Aniki" (big brother). Like Kabir, he is highly intelligent and can speak every language in the world—a super-elite.

Shin-chan and his friends are going to India. Having once traveled there myself, I know that the country’s heat, hustle and bustle, and passion already make it dramatic, and now we have the Kasukabe Dancers as well. When I got the script, I was so excited, and while recording in the studio, I was able to enjoy myself from the bottom of my heart. The teamwork among Shin-chan and his friends is amazing, and my partnership with my own buddy in the story is also in perfect sync. Please be sure to watch it!

This time, the setting is India! And since Shin-chan and friends will be singing and dancing, there’s no doubt it will be a fun film! I couldn’t contain my excitement. As someone who loves musicals, just hearing words like “sing” and “dance” makes my heart leap. Unfortunately, however, my character doesn’t sing or dance. Because I play Sugoi Cube, which is a machine. But it might be a little different from just any regular machine...? (Laughs) Look forward to it!

The Kasukabe Dancers, including Shinnosuke, embark on a variety of adventures in India. You’ll laugh at the absurdity and enjoyment of their outlandish adventures! It’s funny how just a sheet of paper can completely change a person... Honestly, I wish I could have one of those too! You think someone is a “good kid,” but in reality, they don’t always want to be. The film draws with humor and excitement the gap between how people see us and our true selves—a universal worry for everyone, especially children on their way to adulthood.

Latel...? What’s that...? When I looked it up, I found out it’s registered in the Guinness Book of World Records as “the world’s most fearless animal”—and I got fired up! “The strongest and the scariest”—my motivation was at the max! When I did my research, I mostly found cute voices or musical versions online. Here, I wanted to go with pure instinct! To express the fury and fighting spirit of a speechless beast, you really need stamina.
