■Episode 9 “Hanayoi Kanzashi (Part 2)”
[Synopsis]
Before Jinya appears a man introducing himself as Somegorō Akitsu, who gave the kanzashi hairpin to Natsu. Jinya is attacked by Akitsu’s three Inugami (dog spirits) and counters using techniques such as “Concealment” and “Swift Step.” Enduring a fierce struggle in which his throat is bitten by one of the Inugami, Jinya finally gains the upper hand and manages to uncover Akitsu’s true identity. Akitsu turns out to be a “Tsukumogami Handler,” someone who transforms the sentiments dwelling in objects into demons.
