The synopsis and preview cuts for episode 9 of the TV anime "YAIBA Samurai Legend" have been released.

This series is based on the manga "YAIBA" by Gosho Aoyama—creator of numerous hit works such as "Detective Conan," "Magic Kaito," and "4-ban Third"—which was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday (Shogakukan) from issue 39 of 1988 to issue 50 of 1993. It is an action-packed drama following the wild samurai Yaiba Kurogane (voiced by Minami Takayama) as he strives single-mindedly for greater strength through the Way of the Samurai. The manga spans 24 volumes and boasts a cumulative circulation of 17 million copies. The TV anime adaptation, "YAIBA Samurai Legend," has been airing nationwide on the Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV networks every Saturday at 5:30 p.m. since April 5.
