The Gundam stands 18 meters tall and weighs 43.4 tons. While Frau was seen lifting the Gundam’s finger with one hand, isn’t it likely that such a feat would actually involve a tremendous amount of weight...? When Frau exclaimed, "Wow... that's amazing!" in awe upon seeing the base, viewers couldn't help but think, "No, YOUR super strength is way more amazing!"
The anime "Mobile Suit Gundam," which is currently available for streaming, originally aired from April 1979 to January 1980. It was produced by Sunrise and directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino. It established a new genre known as "real robot anime," greatly influencing the robot anime that followed. Although it did not achieve high viewership ratings during its initial broadcast, its popularity shot up after reruns and theatrical releases, leading to a "Gunpla" (Gundam plastic model) boom. Since then, many additional Gundam series and spin-offs have been produced, and the franchise remains extremely popular today. Beginning in April 2025, a new anime installment, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," is currently airing.
