The "Sassy Gal-Like Cuteness" and "Reassuring Leader Vibe" of Nicole's Cosplay from Zenless Zone Zero

—What inspired you to cosplay as Nicole Demara from Zenless Zone Zero this time?

Kurumi Momone (hereafter, Momone): First of all, the way she looks is exactly my taste—I absolutely love twin tails and pink hues, so I instantly fell for her visuals. I was also attracted by Nico’s unique way of laughing, and even though she appears cocky and a bit provocative, she is very caring towards her friends and has a kind heart at her core, which really drew me in.

That contrast in her character’s personality fascinated me, and I really wanted to cosplay her.

—What aspects did you aim to express or pay particular attention to in this cosplay?

Momone: I wanted to fully express Nicole Demara’s sassy, gal-like cuteness, as well as the sense of reassurance and stability she brings as a leader. When it came to facial expressions and posing, I was conscious of balancing Nico’s provocative aura with the trustworthy presence she exudes. I also made my own adjustments and creative changes to the costume so that Nico’s style and charm points would stand out even more.

—Could you tell us what attracts you to Zenless Zone Zero or about your favorite characters?

Momone: I’m really drawn to its modern and stylish design, which sets it apart from games like Genshin Impact or Honkai: Star Rail. The combat controls are exhilarating, making the game really fun to play. Personally, I also like the element where you can date your favorite characters in the game.

My favorite character is, of course, Nico, but I also love Burnice, Astra, and Harumasa for their own unique charm.
