"Chiikawa" is a popular manga series written and illustrated by Nagano, serialized on X (formerly Twitter) since 2020. It has won the Grand Prix at the "Japan Character Awards 2022," as well as the "Japan Character Awards 2024" announced in July 2024. The charm of its small and cute characters, paired with a surprisingly harsh worldview, has attracted a wide audience from children to adults, with the official account surpassing 3.98 million followers.

The anime adaptation of "Chiikawa" airs every Tuesday and Friday around 7:40 AM on Fuji TV during the "Mezamashi TV" program. Starting in April 2025, the show will take about a three-month break from new episodes, during which popular past episodes will be broadcast again. Additionally, the first-ever "Chiikawa" smartphone app, "Chiikawa Pocket," was released on March 27 and is now available in 43 countries and regions worldwide, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the United States. Downloads have exceeded 3 million.
