Kycillia had her brain fried by her savior, Char, in 'Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX'!? 'Was it true love?'

Episode 8 of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" began airing sequentially from May 27. A monologue scene in which Kycillia Zabi (voiced by Kaori Nazuka) reveals her feelings for Char Aznable (voiced by Yūki Shin) has become a hot topic, with viewers commenting, "You can feel the affection in her voice" and "Her brain is totally fried for him."

Episode 8, titled "Falling to the Moon," depicted past events. At the end of the One Year War, in order to protect the lunar city of Granada from the Earth Federation Forces' Solomon Drop Operation, the fleet led by the "Red Comet," Char, launches into action. The story unfolds as they fight to stop the operation.

However, Char, who actually aims for the mutual destruction of both the Federation and the Zabi family, begins to act in order to deliberately allow the Federation's Solomon Drop to succeed. In the end, with Char not returning, Sodon’s fleet starts to withdraw from Solomon, and it appears that the operation to protect Granada has ended in failure.

Then, suddenly, a Zecnova event occurs. Kycillia, who remained in Granada due to her position, is shocked and asks, "Is the Red Comet causing this!?" As a result of the Zecnova causing a portion of Solomon to disappear, Granada is spared from the falling of Solomon. However, Char is also caught up in the Zecnova and goes missing.
