“Jujutsu Kaisen 0” Returns to the Big Screen

In addition, a revival screening of “Jujutsu Kaisen 0” was also announced. This film serves as a prequel to the first season of the TV anime, with Yuta Okkotsu as the protagonist. Chronologically, it takes place roughly 10 years after “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death,” depicting the aftermath of the choices made by Gojo and Geto. In theaters, fans will be able to watch both “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” and “Jujutsu Kaisen 0” in chronological order.

In the newly released official trailer, highlights include Yuta Okkotsu’s inner turmoil, the complete manifestation of the special grade vengeful cursed spirit Rika Orimoto, and intense battle scenes with Suguru Geto.

Furthermore, the new key visual drawn by MAPPA to commemorate the revival screening depicts Yuta attempting to protect a young Rika, as well as the special grade vengeful cursed spirit Rika gently enveloping them, vividly reminiscent of the story’s themes of love and curses.
