Amate Yuzuriha, also known as Machu (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa), the protagonist of the latest entry in the “Gundam” series, “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX,” finds herself enveloped by a mysterious light while piloting a state-of-the-art mobile suit in combat. These “Sparklies” appear to be closely related to Newtype abilities, but their true nature remains a mystery.
