——What aspects were you particular about, or what did you like about this cosplay?
Haruka: Since Miku has twin tails, it was challenging to wear the hat. I’m glad I was able to figure out how to fasten it so it wouldn’t fall off even when moving around. The wind was very strong on the day of the event, but I liked how it allowed the characteristically long sleeves to flow in the wind, and the photos captured that dynamic movement.
——Hatsune Miku has a variety of costumes, but which version is your favorite?
Haruka: I really like Snow Miku’s outfits—they’re adorable every year—but my favorites are from 2019 and 2020.
——Are there any cosplays you’d like to try in the future?
Haruka: I love Pretty Cure, so I’d really like to transform (cosplay) as a Pretty Cure character in the future!

Haruka participated as Senbonzakura Miku, one of the most beloved characters from Vocaloid songs. As she mentioned herself, the dynamic movement of the sleeves added flair to her expression in the photos.
