Dozle’s Long-Awaited Wish Fulfilled!? “Mass-Production of Big Zam” Depicted in Episode 8 of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX

The latest installment in the series, “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX,” charms fans with its parallel world storyline set in the “Mobile Suit Gundam” universe. In episode 8, a worldline in which the giant mobile armor “Big Zam” has been successfully mass-produced is depicted, putting a smile on not only the viewers’ faces, but also on Dozle Zabi’s!?

Dozle, who appears in “Mobile Suit Gundam,” is the third son of the Zabi family and serves as the commander of the Space Attack Forces of the Principality of Zeon. Even those who aren’t hardcore Gundam fans are likely familiar with his line, “I won’t let you do it, I won’t let you do it, I absolutely won’t let you do it!” He once boasted, “Once Big Zam is mass-produced, the Federation will be crushed in no time!” However, that wish never came true, and he fell in battle.

However, in the anime “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX,” it seems Dozle’s dream has finally come to life. In episode 8, multiple Big Zams appear. Facing the Earth Federation Forces’ space fortress “Luna II,” Colonel M’Quve (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita) of the Principality of Zeon laments, “If we’d deployed a full squadron of Big Zams from the start, we could have captured it three days earlier.”
