Special Program for Anime "Kowloon Generic Romance" to be Broadcast on June 14! Haruka Shiraishi and Tomokazu Sugita Take on the Challenge of Making Boiled Dumplings

The special program "TV Anime 'Kowloon Generic Romance' Just Before the Climax! Special Program" will be broadcast exclusively for free on ABEMA on Saturday, June 14, from 9:00 p.m.

"Kowloon Generic Romance" is based on the manga of the same name by Jun Mayuzuki. Set in the nostalgic city of "Kowloon Walled City," it is a mystery love romance that begins when Reiko Kujirai, who harbors feelings for her senior at work, Hajime Kudō, discovers that he once had a fiancée who looked exactly like her. The TV anime has been airing since April, and a live-action film is also scheduled for release in August.

In this special program, Haruka Shiraishi, who plays Reiko Kujirai, and Tomokazu Sugita, who plays Hajime Kudō, will appear. Yusuke Inoue from the comedy duo NON STYLE, a fan of the original manga, will serve as MC, looking back on the story so far and discussing the appeal of the series. In addition, since the delectable foods depicted in the series are also one of its charms, the "Let's Kowloon Gourmet Cooking" segment will feature Shiraishi and Sugita attempting to make boiled dumplings, Hajime Kudō's favorite dish.
