Lalah from the Original Timeline Survives!? Viewers Overwhelmed by Parallel Worlds Crossing Over in Episode 9 of the Anime “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX”

It had been thought that the latest entry in the series, “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX,” took place in a parallel world to “Mobile Suit Gundam.” However, what is the true relationship between the two works!? In a development where two worlds intersect—centered around Lalah Sune—waves of shock rippled through the internet, with reactions like, “Wait, are the parallel worlds connecting???!”, and “Is this world merging with that one?!”

Up till now, “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX” was believed to depict an “if” world of “Mobile Suit Gundam,” exploring the scenario: “What if Zeon had won the One Year War?” But with the true identity of “Sharon’s Rose” being revealed in episode 9, a brand new hypothesis may be emerging.

Inside Sharon’s Rose, which was salvaged from the bottom of the sea, a girl lies asleep—and her appearance strongly resembles Lalah Sune from “Mobile Suit Gundam.” Furthermore, Sharon’s Rose itself greatly resembles the Elmeth, Lalah’s custom mobile armor from “Mobile Suit Gundam.”

Additionally, in episode 9 we see the appearance of Lalah Sune (voiced by Hina Youmiya) residing in the House of Kavas. This version of Lalah appears to possess mysterious powers and dreams of the “other side,” speaking in cryptic lines such as, “In my dreams, I meet that man in a red officer’s uniform over and over again,” and “No matter how many times I try again, the white mobile suit always kills him.”
