The anime “APOCALYPSEHOTEL” has begun airing its 10th episode on June 10. The reckless actions of Ponstein (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), who mistakenly suspects his wife of cheating, shocked viewers with comments like, “Ponstein is out of control!”

In episode 10, “The Whiteness of the Sheets Is the Purity of the Heart,” a Gentle alien guest (voiced by Takahide Adachi) at the hotel met a mysterious end. The hotelier robot Yachiyo (voiced by Saho Shirasu), concerned that customers might stop coming, decides to hide the body. Ponko (voiced by Sumire Morohoshi) helps out by giving the Gentle alien a shower to remove the smell of death.

However, Ponko’s daughter Tamako (voiced by Hina Kino) witnessed everything. Tamako told her father Ponstein, “(Ponko) was in the bath with the candy man (meaning the Gentle alien).”

Upon hearing this, Ponstein completely misunderstood and became convinced his wife Ponko was having an affair with the Gentle alien. To make things worse, seeing a Aggressive Alien (voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda), who resembled the Gentle alien, Ponstein mistook him for the hated other man and attacked him from behind with a large vase.
