As part of a collaboration with the popular series Chiikawa, “Chiikawa × Oyatsu Company Baby Star Ramen (Takikomi Gohan Onigiri Flavor)” will launch nationwide starting Monday, June 9, 2025.
Chiikawa is a popular manga series by illustrator Nagano, serialized since 2020 on X (formerly Twitter). The series won the Grand Prix at the Japan Character Awards in both 2022 and again in 2024, announced in July. The series, known for its cute, small characters and the gap with its often harsh world setting, has gained a wide fan base spanning children and adults alike. It now boasts over 4.02 million followers.

This collaboration product features Chiikawa, the popular work originating on X (formerly Twitter) drawn by illustrator Nagano, and Baby Star, famous for its crispy, crunchy texture.
The Baby Star Ramen (Takikomi Gohan Onigiri Flavor) is inspired by the “Takikomi Gohan Onigiri” shaped by Hachiware in the series. It is crafted to deliver a rich, savory taste with roasted notes and the umami of dashi.
The packaging comes in three designs! Each features a too-cute illustration of Chiikawa in tanuki form, Hachiware, and Usagi.
