In episode 114 of the anime Chiikawa, there is a rare scene where Pochette no Yoroi-san sings and dances to the “Sukiyaki Song.”

The sukiyaki-themed storyline that began in episode 112 continues; in episode 113, Pochette no Yoroi-san buys eggs for Chiikawa (voiced by Haruka Aoki), Hachiware (voiced by Makoto Tanaka), and Usagi (voiced by Ari Ozawa), helps them mix the eggs, and yet refrains from eating sukiyaki himself.

In episode 114, as Pochette no Yoroi-san is walking home from Chiikawa’s house, he recalls the sukiyaki scene and begins to sing the “Sukiyaki Song.” His excitement grows, and not only does he sing, but he also breaks into a dance. At that moment, someone calls out to him. It is the Erai Yoroi-san (voiced by Kazuhiro Sunseki).

The Erai Yoroi-san warns Pochette no Yoroi-san, saying, “Hey, you’re getting a little too friendly.” Sweating, Pochette no Yoroi-san falls silent and has no choice but to listen.
