“Witch Watch” is based on the popular manga serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, with over 3 million copies in circulation. Nico Wakatsuki (voiced by Rina Kawaguchi), who is training to become a witch, ends up living with her childhood friend Morihito Otogi (voiced by Ryota Suzuki), a high school student with ogre powers. While Nico is thrilled to be reunited with her childhood friend, Morihito has a mission as her familiar—to protect Nico from the disasters foretold by prophecy. Unpredictable trouble caused by Nico’s magic, a teenage boy and girl living together... These turbulent and mysterious days, full of extraordinary circumstances, unfold in this magical comedy by Kenta Shinohara, known for “Sket Dance” and “Astra Lost in Space.”
“Watch me!” is a song focusing on the feelings Nico Wakatsuki harbors for Morihito Otogi, packed tightly with Nico's adorable charm. The song is also based on the original short story "Kokorokororon" written by Kenta Shinohara.
