New Visual and PV Released for Anime "Tougen Anki"! Additional Cast Members Include Daisuke Kishio, Mariya Ise, and Megumi Ogata

The Japan Premiere of the TV anime "Tougen Anki" was held on June 21 at United Cinemas Toyosu, where a series of new information was revealed.

At the event, the third promotional video (PV) was unveiled as new information. The PV features dynamic battle scenes with the Momotaro Agency, and the footage has heightened anticipation for the anime's broadcast. Additionally, five new cast members have been announced: Daisuke Kishio, Mariya Ise, Tsuyoshi Koyama, Yasunori Masutani, and Megumi Ogata. Along with this, the third key visual illustrating the confrontation between the Oni Agency and Momotaro Agency has also been released.

Furthermore, it has been decided that an original mini anime named "Onimo Momomo" will be distributed alongside the weekly broadcast. As a pre-release episode, a special edition featuring the Rasetsu Academy members reenacting the classic tale of Momotaro is currently available. The official anime e-commerce site has also opened, offering exclusive merchandise and autograph campaigns.

"Tougen Anki" is based on the popular manga by Yura Urushibara, currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten). Inspired by the classic tale of Momotaro, it depicts a new-generation dark hero story about the clash between those who inherit Oni blood and those who possess Momotaro blood. The TV anime will begin airing on July 11 every Friday at 11 PM on the nationwide Nippon TV network’s “FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (FuraAni)” slot, and will be streamed fastest on ABEMA immediately after broadcast.
