Shunsuke Takeuchi and Iori Saeki to Appear! Special Live Broadcast Confirmed for Episode 1 of Anime "The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses"

A special program titled “TV Anime ‘The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses’ Congratulations! Episode 1 Broadcast Special” will be aired exclusively and for free on ABEMA starting at 8:00 PM on Saturday, July 5.

"The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses" is based on the manga of the same name, written by Norishiro-chan and illustrated by Yukiji Setsuda, and is currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion. The story follows Toto, an extremely shy hero who is so lacking in resistance to women that he faints from even the slightest excitement, and the three heroines who set their sights on his life, in a harem “death” romantic comedy. On ABEMA, the anime will be distributed exclusively one week in advance of the terrestrial broadcast and available to watch as much as you like starting Saturday, July 5.

The special program will feature Shunsuke Takeuchi, who voices the hero Toto, and Iori Saeki, who voices the heroine Ciel. With the TV anime finally about to begin, the program will showcase the appeal of the series with plenty of highlights about each character and the story.

Immediately after the special, beginning at 11:00 PM on the same day, episode 1 will be available for exclusive streaming, one week ahead of terrestrial broadcast. From episode 2 onward, new episodes will be aired for free on the "ABEMA Anime Channel" every Saturday at 11:00 PM, with all episodes available for free streaming after each terrestrial broadcast.

Additionally, the second promotional video (PV) has been released and is now available on ABEMA, ABEMA Anime’s official X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and TikTok.
