A special program titled "The Apothecary Diaries Anime: Pre-Climax Special Program" was streamed on Friday, June 20.
The Apothecary Diaries is based on the novel of the same name by Natsu Hyuuga. Set in the imperial harem, it is a mystery-solving entertainment story that follows a young apothecary, Maomao, who becomes a poison-taster. Using her knowledge of poisons and medicine, she solves a variety of difficult cases within the palace. The second season of the TV anime is now airing over two consecutive cours starting January 2025, with excitement continuing to rise.
