In this episode, the segment entitled “Ono & Hanae, Changing Their Signatures!?” was held. As both of them had expressed a desire for new signatures, signature specialist Yusuke Moriya—who had also helped Hanae design a new signature two years ago—was invited once again to help them develop their brand-new signatures.

When the signature designs were revealed, the proposals ranged from stylish and cool designs, to cute, friendly ones that included adorable illustrations, to bold, classical styles based on deconstructed kanji characters that gave off a legendary vibe. Seeing the fashionable designs, Ono excitedly exclaimed, “Whoa! So cool!” and “What should I do? This is great!”

From Hanae came a greedy-sounding comment: “These are awesome! Maybe I’ll take about three of them~,” which filled the studio with laughter.

After that, Ono confessed, “In the past, I tried to come up with a kanji signature, but no matter how much I tried, the number of strokes was too many and the balance was hard, so I gave up.” In the end, he chose a legendary-style signature designed with kanji, which he couldn’t have come up with himself. Meanwhile, Hanae, though uncertain and asking, “Do I have to decide today?” finally chose a simple but cool design, which he found to be his favorite.

Also, when it came time to practice their chosen signatures, a scene highlighted Ono’s lack of dexterity. Both of them tried mimicking Moriya’s examples as they wrote, but Ono had a hard time with the kanji signature. The finished result was a completely different design, and as Hanae awkwardly tried to cover it by saying, “Did it come out looking even more like a legend?” the studio erupted in laughter once again.
