Masaya Fukunishi Secretly Attended Shotaro Morikubo’s Tour! Praises the Tour with Unique Expressions

On ABEMA, “Say You To Yo Asobi Saturday” episode #8 aired at 9:00 PM on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

In the opening talk of the broadcast, the topic shifted to Shotaro Morikubo’s tour, “Shotaro Morikubo LIVE TOUR 2025 Shin Hadaka Ban Shou PHASE10,” which kicked off in Osaka on June 7, 2025 (Saturday), and successfully wrapped up all three shows in Nagoya, Kanagawa, and other locations.

Morikubo reflected, “I mess up the lyrics so much that I wondered if my brain was really that broken... The lyrics, every word that I wrote myself, just flew out of my head! Even songs I’ve been singing for about 20 years—I’d forget the lyrics or suddenly start singing the second verse, and I thought, what is wrong with me? I tried things like pressing acupressure points on my hands or getting vitamin IV drips.” As he expressed his regret, Morikubo suddenly made a shocking statement.

He blurted out, “Hey, you’re being too distant. You came to see me without saying a word,” revealing that Fukunishi had secretly attended Morikubo’s tour. Fukunishi admitted, “I was completely incognito. I now understand the meaning of ‘Shin Hadaka Ban Shou’ in the tour title. It was like you were totally laid bare. Maybe you were even more exposed than just your body. I felt much closer to you than when we usually talk on the show. Honestly, I just love how free and powerful your singing voice is,” giving high praise.

Morikubo, a bit embarrassed but grateful, said, “Seriously, if you were going to come, you should’ve told me in advance! You even went out of your way to get a ticket… I was really happy!”
