The "BOOK☆WALKER Mid-Year Ranking 2025," based on eBook sales from October 21, 2024, to May 31, 2025, has been announced by the comprehensive eBook store "BOOK☆WALKER."

This ranking features a total of 11 divisions, including the overall ranking and 10 category-specific rankings.

In the overall ranking, "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," which also garnered attention from its TV anime broadcast, secured the top spot, achieving a record-breaking fourth consecutive win. This is the first time in BOOK☆WALKER's history that a single series has achieved four consecutive victories in both the mid-year and annual rankings.

In the "Literature/Novels" category ranking, "Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective," a full-fledged medical mystery written by an active physician, took first place for the first time, boosted by its anime adaptation and TV drama adaptation.

Meanwhile, in the "Light Novels/New Literary Works" category, "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?," which aired its fifth anime season, reclaimed the first spot for the first time in about three years. In the "Shojo/Female Manga" category, "The Apothecary Diaries," currently airing its second anime season, achieved three consecutive wins, showcasing how responses to anime broadcasts and steadfast user support are reflected in the ranking results.
