Did Gundam ever do poses like that? Such a surprising scene that raises this question was depicted in the first episode of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX."

In the middle of the story, inside the colony, a red Gundam and GQuuuuuuX begin to engage in combat. Picking up on the commotion, two Military Police Zakus forcibly enter the refugee residence colony—even tearing off the roofs to conduct their search. Unable to tolerate this injustice any longer, Machu (voiced by Amate Yuzuriha) finally snaps.

Determined to resist the Military Police, Machu climbs into a Zaku and heads out. Although she is blown away under a tunnel, she accidentally encounters GQuuuuuuX, which is undergoing maintenance. On seeing GQuuuuuuX, Machu remarks, “That one looks stronger, doesn’t it?” Unhesitatingly, she dashes over to GQuuuuuuX, and for some reason, the lock disengages and the machine activates.
