For instance, in Episode 2, he used Kamille's mother as a hostage and killed her as a warning. Additionally, in the movie "Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: STARDUST MEMORY," he executes a cold tactic of sacrificing even his own fleet with the Solar Ray II for his objectives.
In the later part of Zeta Gundam, he is portrayed as a symbol of "domination through power," showing no consideration for the environment or human lives, detonating nuclear bombs in Jaburo along with allies.
It reaches a point where one might feel, "Isn't this too much even for a villain?" Nevertheless, it made him a memorable character for viewers. Eventually, in Episode 48, Bask meets his end when he is sunk along with his warship by the Palace Athene, piloted by the traitorous Reccoa Londe.
Interestingly, Bask also appears in Episode 6 of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX". What heinous acts did he commit in the world of G-Quax? Be sure to witness once again his "excessively evil deeds" in Episode 7 of "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam," which could be considered his origin.
"Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam" is a robot anime produced by Sunrise, aired from March 1985 to February 1986, serving as a sequel set 7 years after the One Year War in "Mobile Suit Gundam." It also sparked the "Gunpla" boom. Numerous derivative works, including spin-offs, have been produced, maintaining high popularity to this day.
