Typically, if it were a standard military-issued machine, weapons would be replenished after a battle. In fact, in episode 7, it appeared with the Vulcan guns almost certainly out of ammo, and all weapons like the shield and rifle lost, with even the missing beam saber left "as is".

On social media, voices were asking, "Where did the Red Gundam's beam saber go?" highlighting interest in the whereabouts of the other beam saber. It might be fun to revisit these subtle details.

Looking closely at episode 5, GQuuuuuuX returned after the Clan Battle still gripping the Red Gundam's beam saber in its right hand. From the seeming lack of intent to return it, it might genuinely be a case of "borrowed and never returned." You can almost hear a voice saying, "Give it back already, says the Gundam."

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is the latest installment in the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series that has been ongoing since 1979. It tells the story of high school girl Amate Yuzuriha (CV: Tomoyo Kurosawa) living peacefully in a space colony who gets swept into the illegal mobile suit duel competition, Clan Battle, after meeting the young girl Nyaan (voiced by Yui Ishikawa). Jointly produced by Studio Khara and Sunrise, known for works like the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series, it has attracted attention and the theatrical version released ahead of the TV series in January this year was a big hit, grossing approximately 3.4 billion yen. A re-screening in 368 theaters nationwide has also been decided to start on June 20.
