The iconic "death flag" in anime often involves the phrase "Let's get married when this war is over." However, in the movie "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack," a memorable "salad comment" tragically becomes a flag.

Astonaige Medoz (CV: Shingo Hiromori, currently Shin Mori), the notable mechanic who supported Gundam since the AEUG era, appears in this work as a critical backstage character involved in the maintenance of the Nu Gundam while affiliated with Londo Bell. Just before the Axis Drop Operation, he warmly tells his romantic partner, soldier Kayra Suu (CV: Shinobu Adachi), "Kayra! I'll make you my special salad!"
