[Photos/Images] This Must Be It! Studio Khara's Tribute Scenes from "Eva" and "Aim for the Top!" in "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" 1st

In episode 7 of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," there's a scene where Challia stops Machu's rampage. Many viewers must have immediately thought of "the end of Evangelion 2.0...!?" The composition and direction of the scene are strikingly similar to the one from "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance," where Kaworu Nagisa stops Unit-01's rampage.

This episode opens with a shot of GQuuuuuuX and a red Gundam peeking out from under a pass, which is a clear nod to the scene in "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo" where Evangelion Provisional Unit-02 and Unit-08 make a "peeking" appearance.

Moreover, the scene where Deux Murasame and Psycho Gundam are defeated is recreated with "vivid realism," reminiscent of the shocking scene where Asuka is overwhelmed in "The End of Evangelion."
