Even in Defeat, Never Give Up! The Miracle of the Dazzling Phenomenon in "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack"

The late developments depicted in the theatrical version of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack" are indeed a story of discovering light amid despair.

As the giant meteor Axis is about to be dropped onto Earth, the operation led by Char Aznable (CV: Shuuichi Ikeda) of Neo Zeon is on the brink of success. The Earth Federation Forces are making an all-out effort to stop it, but due to a nuclear explosion set by Char, Axis is split, and a smaller part falls into Earth's gravitational field.
