A Buddy Duo Is Born: Middle-Aged Man and High School Girl! Anime "Detectives These Days Are Crazy!" Episode 1 Synopsis and Preview Cuts Released

The synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 1 of the TV anime "Detectives These Days Are Crazy!", which will begin airing in July, have been released.

"Detectives These Days Are Crazy!" is based on the manga by Masakuni Igarashi, which has sold a total of 900,000 copies in the series to date. The TV anime will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other stations from July 1, and will be streamed exclusively ahead of terrestrial broadcast on ABEMA.

Keiichirō Nagumo (voiced by Junichi Suwabe), once a celebrated high school detective who built a glorious track record and enjoyed great fame, has since become an outdated middle-aged man. One day, Mashiro (voiced by Kana Hanazawa), a high school girl aiming to become a detective, barges into the Nagumo Detective Agency, hoping to become his assistant.
